So I am new to this forum but I have been rping with my characters for a while now, Melody is new though and may change her a little as I go. Feel free to suggest, ask questions, etc.
Drake
He is a strong, fast, massive male gray wolf weighing in at 160 lbs, 63in in length, and roughly measuring 36in at the shoulder. He has excellent hunting and tracking skills, is relatively fast for his size but speed isn't really his thing, he's more of a tank, his body consisting of thick, dense, well defined muscle wrapped in fur. He has trust issues due to an over bearing father and a dark past where his entire pack was slaughtered by illegal hunters in an effort to exterminate the wolf population. He managed to escape with his older brother Fin but they got separated. Not long afer that Drake found a dispersal female wolf and made her his mate, but few months later, before their litter was born she was killed by a large rival pack and Drake was badly injured. After barely escaping with his life Drake soon healed, his scars a grim reminder. Now Drake wanders alone in search of his brother, hoping once they reunite they can start over and Drake might be able to get back something he lost long ago. Drake is the darker one on the right of the picture.
Fin is a gray wolf male, smaller then his brother weighing in at 105lbs, 41in in length, and 32in at the shoulders. He is gentle, kind, and wise, also passive aggressive After their pack was wiped out by hunters he struck out to find his younger brother hoping to reunite their pack. Fin is a lot more trusting then Drake, mostly because he did not have the rough treatment Drake received growing up, but he's always been naturally trusting and compassionate. He is afraid of hunters and would not go out of his way to fight them, he would more likely run away. He is always the one to try to keep peace. Fin is on the left in the picture.
Melody
She's an average sized female gray wolf weighing in at 85lbs, 40in in length, and 30in in the shoulder. When she was a year old her pack was attacked by a rival pack residing in the mountain ranges. Her small family fought to protect their home but in the end several of the wolves were killed, including her parents. She and a few staggering members of her pack wandered the plains for several weeks, but one night she woke up and found herself alone. The few remaining members had dispersed off to find mates of their own and start their own lives. After several months surviving alone she met up with a black pelted Casanova and decided to start her new life. Thrilled for the new adventures ahead she was ready to take the world on, nothing could stand in their way, or so she thought. Although they had learned a lot form their parents and former pack mates, they were not prepared for the challenges that came with raising a family. After their first few months together, five strong wolf cubs wide eyed and and full of wonder entered the world. But those first weeks were riddled with challenges. The scarcity of prey caused her mate to venture further and further away from the den to find food and one night he didn't come back. After Melody could wait no longer she finally left the den, leaving her helpless pups behind to hunt. She did this for several days, most of the time only bringing home small game. She wouldn't go very far or stay away for very long. She didn't want to leave her pups. One day she went out to hunt, like she always did for her small family that had dwindled down to only three pups due to starvation, but when she returned she found a large grizzly at her den, she tried the steer him away but it was too late, her pups were gone. In the picture below you can see Melody looking back one last time after she'd spent days at her broken den site, calling for her pups and mate, hoping someone would answer. Melody is a vibrant, friendly, sweet, and some times stubborn 2 year old wolf. . She is now seeking a pack to join and start her life over again, ready to embrace the adventures to come.
