Welcome to Primitive Call (shortened to PmC). We are a work in progress MORPG (multiplayer online roleplaying game). In Primitive Call, you will take on the role of a wolf in a natural, northern-nature setting. There will be several different sorts of terrain in which you, as a wolf, can take up for territory. Target your choice of prey from various different animals and different levels of hunting difficulty. And have fun with your fellow members in your own pack!
CURRENT STATUS: Paused - Unreleased.
Paused while working on Beasts of Bermuda!
This is the official forum of Primitive Call.
PmC has reached quite an age and gone through many, many versions. There are still hopes to complete it one day, but for now, it's a personal project on pause.
Your support and patience is appreciated, thank you for the visit!
I didn't really know where to put this thread since all I made was a wolf, and PmC already has a wolf model. But I plan on making a lot more animals, so maybe one of them will be good enough to be ingame, though I'm pretty sure that the team already has a bunch of wild life.
I saw a link to Lifeon's modeling tutorial today, so I decided to download blender and give it a shot! I am so glad that I did because this was a lot of fun. Her videos are very helpful so if you want to try to make your own model I highly recommend you go and check out her series. 8)
My wolf model is not done, I still need to give him eyes/teeth and he doesn't have a rig or anything. I might try to texture him when I'm done but I don't think I have the skills to do that. xD If anyone has advice to make him look better I would really appreciate it! This is my first model so I might have made a bunch of mistakes without even knownig, haha
Here is my toothless, blind wolfie.
If any of y'all have a suggestion for what I should make after I finish my wolf please say so! I don't know what I want to do next yet. ps. this is inspired by Amber's thread, so you guys should go check out her stuff too. She has some cool stuff

pff this is amazing for a first model, like actually amazing :O The only suggestion I have is that the body looks a little long for a wolf (idk, mite just be me XD) Besides that this is really beautiful
Midna Haha, I might try a deer. Thx for the suggestion
xtigerlilly Thank you! I see what you mean about the body. I used a real wolf for the reference pic, maybe the body looks long because the ref's back leg was kind of stretched out. I will try to see what I can do about shortening him up.
edit;; updated the hind legs to be straighter, i think this helped a little bit?
Thanks guys! I am having some trouble with the rig for Mr. Wolf atm so I decided to make a few really basic plants until I find out how to fix it. I only used 4 frames to make them, if I used more they would look nicer, but I wanted to keep them as low poly as possible.
There are a lot more plants than just the ones in the sceenies, but I don't want to spam the thread with pictures of random plants. Haha. If PmC wants them I can touch them up and send them over, I think I have about 15 in total. Otherwise at least they were fun practice!
Yay! Thanks for the encouragement. c//: u guys are so sweet
I didn't have a lot of time to work on stuff today, and probably won't have much downtime time until I graduate in a couple weeks, but I had an extra hour between school and work so I decided to make an itty bitty model for practice. was surprised by how quick this one was to make, the wolf took a couple hours but this one was significantly less
pikapika? I made a pika I think I might try a pronghorn for the next one, but we'll see.
I know I said I had to work on finals, buuuuut this is just too fun lol
I started the pronghorn, it is still a work in progress but it's getting there. I'm not 100% happy with them so once I get them to look how I like, I will make a baby. I also tried to texture them today but it didn't go very well. I have no idea what I'm doing 8') i promise i will learn though
Didja guys know that pronghorns are the second fastest land animal in the entire world?? second only to the cheetah. they can reach sprints of up to 60mph and can maintain a steady 30mph for miles. They are also the last remaining species of their family, their closest living relatives being giraffes and okapi. It's possible that they evolved along side the American Cheetah, which is why they can outrun any living predator in their habitat today. including wolves.
If you want to know more about them you can read this little article HERE. They are really cool! I'm glad I decided to model one, otherwise I would have never know about all this.

redbonnet6: funny... a bit paused... game has been in "development" for years and years and suddenly they devs are working on a different game instead that looks super glitchy.
