Wyderia.
A staggering place indeed. There are so many possibilities here; it would be rather dumb to say there was none. However, there are many rules in this world. One must not abandon his comrades. He must fight for them until the end, and be willing to sacrifice himself. You do not leave your home without an elder's permission, or you will be classified as an enemy.
You do not kill without reason.
You do not disrespect the higher-ups.
Depending on the level of the problem, certain punishment will go ahead.
It's not an easy life, to be honest with you.
The people who live here are not of human blood. They can be hybrid, or "pure-blood". Who am I in this world exactly?
I'm a warrior. Training to become the greatest warrior there will ever be. I'm actually a pure-blood, and one of the more "common" species.
And today, I'm being assigned to my team!
-=-=-=-=-
Yinx will be a Semi-Large series I'm working on. The stuff above is just a little about it.
I actually have no idea how long this'll be when I'm finished :3 But I do plan on getting the first chapter out soon!
I'm probably using my art thread to share some of the designs of the characters (when I do make them)
If anyone's interested on helping me with ideas for the future of the story (they can be plot, "filler" etc), that would be amazing!

{Chapter One}A small hawk-like cat struggled under the grip of a massive, black paw. A stinger dangled over the creature, as two yellow eyes looked upon the creature. The brown furred small cat-hawk pleaded, his green eyes shining in the moonlight. "Please do let me go, I never meant you harm..!"
Pupils slitted, as the green orbs got big in fear.
"I will let you go.. but do not tell those "others" of my intentions.. ...or.." The long, scorpion stinger swished in the air. Releasing his grip, the cat-hawk scrambled away. He unfolded his brown wings, and took off. The large creature watched, as a smaller one; although not too small, slithered up, blue eyes slitted.
"That could've gone better..ss.." The female voice hissed, forked tongue flicking. The large figure tilted his head.
"I think it went rather fine, if I do say so myself." The tail curled. The two figures stood for a moment, before heading down the well-lit pathway.
---
A young saber-tooth tiger walked among the path of the village of Yinx. His fur was long and grey, with black spots. The tips of the fur were white, and the eyes were amber. A crowd of people stood nearby. He padded over. Most of the people there were his age; but why would they be older? They were, after all, a student to the academy like him. His ear twitched. Had he missed graduation? Then, he realized there was a figure there he'd never seen. Ever.
The figure had hard blue eyes, light green scales with black, DNA like strand markings. The underbelly was white.
"And thatssss.. ..what we'll be doing today... ssss.." The figure finished. A dark blue, almost black griffon shifted his head over to the saber.
"You're late."
"Yeah, I know.."
"Pleasssseee meet me at training ground 43 team 4...sss."
"By the way, you're on team 4, Kalas.." The bird growled at Kalas.
"Okay, Lynxix.."
Lynxix grumbled something about, "I'm on your team too.."
Kalas watched Lynxix fly away, then noted a small, brown, cat-like figure soaring off. He'd only seen that figure once or twice, and he already knew it was one of the village leader's spies. Their spy of course, only one village could train the best cat-hawks. He noted the fact the cat-hawk looked rather nervous, and instead of flying to the center of the village (where spies reside) He flew out to the outer-wall. With interest, Kalas followed. He might not have the best class scores, but he still believed he could somehow track where this cat-hawk was heading off to.
