Make a territory design for the dark forest! CLOSED! Thanks!

The remnants of human life from so long ago. A decayed and crumbling farm. It's barely recognizable and you'd likely miss it if not for the few structures of wood and stone that still stand in ruin, with trees growing through caved in roof tops and grass reclaiming the floorboards. Portions of what was once a fence surrounding the large farm can be seen poking up through the mass of dirt, grass, and rock here and there; sometimes tangled up in the roots of a tree.

Somewhere obscure in the tallest of grasses in the deep of the woods, perhaps there's an altar of some sort of a statue or a little water fountain. Something strange and unique that has stood and won against the tides of time. No one knows what it is meant for or who it was created by, or for what it was created, but it exists as a peaceful reminder of the mysteries of the past.

MMMM I might concept some of my ideas out too but I can't be bothered to clear up my tablet right now.

Cool I love that the members can do a bit of contribution

You could have a a lone tree, in a middle of a clearing, that is dead but still stands like this ---->  mysterious tree of the dead

Or maybe a well of some sort hidden amongst the dirt (same level as ground). I'll try and think of some more later

Alrighty! Here I have more concept ideas rather than a specific map thingy...but let me give it a go!

Humans naturally find faces in objects, it's just who we are! However, objects that appear simply unnerving have some weird creepy effect on us. As if those faces are watching us...Considering this particular map is set in 'The Dark Forest', there should be some slight unnerving disposition. After rereading some old Grim's tales and once again playing some of the Cursed Forest, I was inspired by the idea of having face-like 'engravings' on a few trees. After all, no matter how many times I've played the Cursed Forest, those flowers you see when walking up the path look like creepy little human faces...(sorry peoples who have no idea what I'm talking about XD)



Another Fabulous idea of mine would be to add a sudden change of light affects. As if there is small doses of light in unusual spots. The kind of light that is almost blinding and cast eerie shadows. 



Finally, I present the concept of star water. I know you're saying right, "Wut?" or "ThatSs not reel NOob!1" Well, actually, it's such a thing and it is not stars but rather micro organisms that glow as they wash up on shore. (This natural phenomenon occurs typically on the beach of Vaadhoo on one of the Raa Atoll islands in the Maldives. Just if you already want to plan a nice vacation *hint hint*) I thought it might be a unique idea that could take place on the shores of lakes, river, oceans or whatever.

(man, that came out tiny compared to the rest. lol)

And as for hideaways or dens...what if the roots on some trees were uplifted so that there is enough space to get in, however, it can seem almost obscure to anyone who doesn't pay attention. It might add a fun 'let's see if we can find all the hidden dens' kinda game. Not to mention, but the tangled roots might become a little woven barrier for those who are trying to outrun a psycho bear.
