Renn
~Male Yukon Wolf
~Native to the Alaskan Region
~2 years old
Bloodline:
Mother: Inuwa - Yukon Wolf
Inherited: Pelt color (Light brown/Beige), Slight pelt pattern, Eye Color, Coat Density, Nose Color
Father: Winston - Yukon Wolf
Inherited: Pelt color (Brown, Dark Maroon), Slight Pelt Pattern, Eye Color, Coat Density
Appearance
Renn has a strong build for a wolf. His large figure is mostly caused by his thick coat. Renn's eyes are a golden yellow. His winter and summer coat only change slightly in length. The fur is indeed heavy. So the fur around his eyes causes a "droopy" look. His legs are thickly covered with fur, so snow and ice are no problem.
Stamina/Health
Eyesight/Vision: 7/10 - Renn's coat around the eyes disrupts his vision, otherwise sight is pretty normal
Agility: 6/10 - Renn's large frame makes it hard to maneuver around as quickly as needed
Endurance: 8/10 - Renn can withstand most harsh conditions, including snow storms. However extremely warm temperatures can cause a negative effect.
Detection(Smell): 10/10 - To balance his senses, Renn's nose is very useful, and one of his most powerful senses.
Strength: 9/10 - Renn is very burly, so most of his strength comes from his build.
History
Winston was a valiant leader and a known wolf to neighboring packs around the Alaskan interior. A 3 year old Yukon wolf who was destined to create his own pack. Other lupines gave him the nicknames "Big Bear, Brother Bear, or StoneWind." Big Bear, because of his large build. Brother Bear for his loyalty and solicitude towards family and companions. StoneWind was a Tsimshian Native nickname resembling strength and supple nature.
Winston would wander not long before becoming affectionate with a quick-witted she wolf named Inuwa. The pair settled down in a densely forested area. Nearby were snowy plains and icy creeks. Once mating season arrived, on March 12, Inuwa gave birth to a litter of 5 pups. First born, Renn, with 2 other brothers Ike and Niquo and 2 sisters Malia and Niwa. Inuwa had a speculation already about her firstborn. Renn was the only pup to inherit her pale nose. Her pups blind and thickly coated, Inuwa new they would become strong adolescents. Winston prepared to set rules for his new pack. He would have to chose one of his offspring to leave the pack to start their own. How he would come to the decision would be up to his mate, as her pups were more attached to their mother. Weeks passed and the pups were long ready to frolic outside the den. Inuwa insisted they find her parents' pack, "Rockside Hills Pack" and have them join their own. Winston opposed this idea, thinking her parents were alphas, and it would affect his position as an alpha male.
Inuwa explained that her parents were in fact not an alpha pair, but a beta pair. It was unusual for the betas to mate, but because of a weak hierarchy, they chose to try and help strengthen it and do so. The attempt was hardly successful, with Inuwa being the only surviving pup of the litter. The hierarchy affected the trust between the pack mates and their alphas but as ruling and aggressive as they were, they were scared to leave. All of this would mean the alphas would have to be challenged by Winston. It was not precise that they would remember Inuwa's scent either. Winston felt determined to complete his goal of a large pack and finally agreed to Inuwa's suggestion.
The pair took the pups across a great distance of Alaska to find the pack. At the destination, they were met with a sum of about 10 wolves. Inuwa, hesitant, was the first to approach them. The alpha female and male were intimidating, more than what Inuwa remembered. They trotted with their tails held high and with bad intentions. Winston commanded her to step back with the pups and let him confront the alphas. The alphas, of course, would never "let their pack mates up to an insignificant runt."
The pack began to stir.
Only 2 wolves would stand in defense of their alphas. They were ready to fight the wolf. Inuwa could only relocate her pups to a safer place out of the way. She could only hope her pack could stick up for her and her mate. Then 3 other wolves from the pack lined alongside Winston. It was even. They began to fight-Winston and a pack against its own. Inuwa anxiously watched from a good distance along with Renn and the other pups. Renn felt extremely anxious watching his father fight. His connection with his father fueled his means to join him.
It was almost over. One of the alpha's wolves fled. The other could not make it, neither did the two with Winston. It wasn't long before another one of Renn's brothers came bounding behind to help their father. Iko joined Renn and they both attempted to attack the alpha male. Winston fiercely edicted they return to their mother. Renn insisted they both go back. Iko would be to ingested in his boldness. He tried to attack the alpha again... unsuccessfully. The alpha female grasped onto Iko and didn't let go, viscously shaking her head to each side.
There was no saving him. Iko was killed. Inuwa heard the cry of her pup before it took it's last breath. She was now full of anger, rage, and despair. Inuwa ordered her horrified pups to stay behind. Winston was not excluded to his mate's feelings. The alphas would try to kill Renn next, who was already shaken with sorrow. Traumatized, he couldn't move away from his brother. The alphas couldn't try to attack him though. Inuwa joined Winston as well as a few other pack mates. Others tried to comfort Renn and the other pups.
Now the fight was finally over. The alpha female was killed and the alpha male was exiled far away from the land. The new alphas would create a strong standing pack. They all howled in victory and for the lost ones. Winston and Inuwa finally had their chance to greet the wolves and promised them his loyalty and trust. Two more older wolves approached the scene carrying fish and unaware of the fight. Inuwa's parents. She bounded towards them. All three were extremely excited to see each other. Inuwa explained that they no longer had to obey or follow their old leaders. She and her mate would be the next alphas. Winston would call his pack "Wolves of Bear Valley". The new pack raised to about 13 wolves.
They traveled back to Inuwa's den site. They renamed the territory Bear Valley for the sake of their pack's name. Here the pups grew, and the pack was thriving more than it did before, with Renn growing in great strength like his father. By the time the pups reached 1 year and a few months old, Inuwa decided that it was time for one of the pups to go. Winston already knew who that wolf would be. Renn was the bravest, strongest and most kind hearted of the pups. Inuwa didn't want her son to go, but to keep the population growing he would have to. Renn didn't want to let his parents down, so he decided to leave. Inuwa said that he would always be welcomed back. The pack howled together, Winston and Inuwa the loudest. They will dearly miss their son. The siblings were able to play with their brother one last time before he left. "Little Bear" would be Renn's nickname after his father.
Then he was off on his own. He'd come back one day, an alpha of his own pack.
Personality-Traits
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Positive:
~~~~~~~~~~~
||Extroverted|| Renn is a very social being. He loves conversation and meeting with new wolves. This comes with his "alpha" trait when possibly recruiting wolves for a new pack. As well as reasoning with a pack.
||Easygoing|| Renn is more laid back during some situations. He'll never purposely bring a small matter into a bigger issue. He'll tolerate most things that aren't too serious and he's pretty much a relaxed wolf when there is no danger.
||Valiant|| Renn is very courageous and shows great leadership. Hoping to soon become an alpha, Renn holds this trait even more. Though he may be laid back at times, Renn knows when to take control and demand when needed.
||Receptive|| Renn is always up for new ideas and suggestions. Whether it is where to travel or hunt, Renn is always up for advice on anything and is greatly appreciated by it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Negative:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
||Circumspect|| Renn's worries can get in the way at some points. He'll always try to defuse a dangerous situation beforehand. Even if there really was no danger at all.
||Perfectionist|| It can be hard trying to reason with Renn about certain situations. He can be a stickler most of the time when it comes to control, but rarely.
Additional Information

Keil
~Male Grey x Red Wolf Mix
~Native to Northeastern Region
~1 year and 5 months
Bloodline:
Mother: Kiko - Red Wolf
Inherited: Coat Pattern, Eye Color, Muscular Build, Coat Density
Father: Ash - Grey Wolf
Inherited: Pelt Color, (greys-light beiges), Muscular Build
Appearance:
Keil is unusually slim for the average wolf. This might be a result of his mixed genes. Keil has a very short pelt and long legs. He has his mother's blue eyes and long muzzle.
Stamina/Health:
Eyesight/Vision: 9/10 - Keil was born with normal eyesight, he needs to be able to use it in order to help his mother anyway
Agility: 9/10 - Keil's smaller frame makes it easy to dash and make quick turns when he needs to.
Endurance: 7/10 - Because his body is not in top shape due to being raised by only one adult, Keil can only withstand few things. Not harsh, low temperatures
Detection: 8/10 - Keil has a keen sense of detecting danger. He's very alert almost all the time
Strength: 7/10 - Keil doesn't have a very built body, so he's not very strong
History:
Keil's story goes way back to his mother, a red wolf. Her name was Kiko. She lived in a pack residing on the outskirts of Pennsylvania. The pack was small, only containing her grandparents (the retired alphas), parents (alphas), and a 2 other wolves. Her mother, Alaiyah, and father, Koba, had a litter of pups once finding their home. Kiko was the last born of the 4 pups. However, due to released toxins in the air by humans, the pups quickly became sick. Along with the retired alphas.
The retired female and 3 pups became terminally ill, and did not make it. Kiko was the only pup to survive the illness. Her parents cherished their last pup after this had happened. The pack would teach her how to hunt, fight, and protect herself. The pack was not large nor strong enough to stay together long. Kiko would have to leave the pack soon to avoid another epidemic that would kill the pack. Kiko would grow up to be a lean wolf compared to the rest of the pack. A very skilled hunter with agility and speed overpowering more of her strength. By this time, the retired male had passed. This left the alphas and their two other pack mates.
Koba and Alaiyah sent Kiko on her way to find her own pack. She roamed far outside of her home. The smells were very new and unfamiliar. She wouldn't go far before finding herself in great trouble. She didn't know better when she hunted and killed a farmer's sheep. To add to the trouble, there had been predator-control programs in effect in the area as well. The farmer took notice of his sheep's disappearance and alerted officials. Kiko was long on her way though....or she thought. She'd be followed by hunters with dogs. She could smell them though, those were scents her mother warned her about. Kiko was able to outrun the hunters, but the dogs were way ahead of them.
She was attacked by three of the dogs. Kiko would not let them take her life, so she defended herself. She did a great deal of damage on the dogs, who then fled. But the dogs also did their damage to her. There was a huge scar across her left eye and muzzle. Her vision quickly became blurred. She would soon have to rely on her scent. This was until she was captured by humans. Kiko was sent to a conservation center, where she was studied and cared for. There were no other red wolves there, but there were grey wolves. The humans thought of attempting a cross-breeding with Kiko and another male wolf there named Ash. They were forced to mate under the researcher's control and had their litter of 3 pups.
Keil was one of these pups and the last born just like his mother. Kiko didn't want her pups to be held captive here. She tried effortlessly to dig her way out of her enclosure. The other wolves there questioned why she would ever want to leave the center. But these wolves never had their chance in the wild. They were far gone from being feral, and could be called domestic at this point. Kiko's mate was offered a chance to escape with her but refused to leave. Days later and the hole still went unnoticed, until one worker had noticed the red wolf was gone along with the pups. Kiko escaped the conservation center after so long.
She traveled a long ways before her vision had gotten even worse than before. Without the medicine from the humans, her eye would get infected and she would become blind. With only one working eye now, Kiko had to struggle to keep her pups contained and close to her. Months had passed, but Kiko was still able to care for her pups, which have grown. She decided to take them on their first hunt. An ill doe would be perfect. The pups followed in their mother's steps. She was able to chase the doe until it darted into a road. She cautioned her pups to stay behind while she got it. She darted across the road to the doe. The pups saw their mother disappear into the bushes. Kiko then howled to her pups that the doe was dead. Keil was the first to start bounding out from behind the trees to the other side. Kiko howled again saying it was safe to cross. The other pups made their way across the road, but not before the sound of a truck's blaring horn could be heard after that. The truck swerved off the road heading toward Kiko and Keil. They had quickly gotten out of its way.
However, it wasn't the same for the other pups.
They laid there lifeless near the side of the road. Kiko and Keil ran out beside them. They couldn't stay. There were cars stopping behind the truck to see if the driver was okay and the road became blocked with cars and people, backing up traffic. The two couldn't mourn until they were safe, and the surrounding areas were nothing but houses, apartments, and stores. Kiko had to rest somewhere though. They made their way across city suburbs to get the farthest away from humans as they could. Kiko found an area that seemed slightly more peaceful than their recent stops. They couldn't stay there long either. There was no food to last. So she dug a hole under a large tree where the two of them could stay for only a few days.
Over the next few weeks, they would follow any rivers they encountered to see if they would lead to any safer areas to stay. They branched from the last river to a creek. Finally there was a place that was safe and fresh with prey. Keil made a den while Kiko went off to hunt smaller prey. This would be their new home. They reside there for now. Keil stays there to protect his mother and help her hunt, but he will have to be going on his own soon. Kiko's vision was worsening day after day. She wouldn't have much time left.
Personality-Traits:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Positive:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
||Protective|| Keil has had to supervise his mother for some time. Because she was sick and could barely see, she was vulnerable herself.
||Healer|| Keil has learned how to be a caretaker after looking over his mother. So he knows how to keep a watchful eye and comfort weaker or impotent wolves.
||Vigilant|| During his younger life being raised by only his mother, Keil had learned how to stay alert. He had to in order to protect his mother.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Negative:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
||Secretive|| Keil never really grew up around other wolves that weren't his own family members. He avoids encounters with strangers and tries not to associate with others. If he does, it's usually brief.
||Reserved|| It would be hard to get to know Keil personally. He's not much for conversation or even other wolves period. Keil's always on the move and doesn't have much time to socialize. Not that he'd want to anyway, he can get pretty snappy.
Additional Information:
Where To Find Him:
Keil doesn't change where he rests very much. He's extremely territorial over his resting areas. Forests and plains are his usual spots though. Both for hunting and resting.

Raiden
~Male Great Plains Wolf
~Native to Northern Region
~1 year 2 months
Bloodline:
Mother: Mari - Great Plains Wolf
Inherited: Coat Colors (burgundy, dark browns, dark beiges), Coat Density, Eye Color, Muscular Build
Father: Kal - Great Plains Wolf
Inherited: Coat Colors, Coat Pattern, Coat Density, Eye Color
Appearance:
Raiden's coat is very thick for the most part. The fur is thicker around the legs and toes, making it easier to grasp onto prey, dirt, or rock, The coat is surprisingly light for how it looks, but gets very heavy when leaving water. Raiden's coat, as well as his parents', are rare for their subspecies. So he's destined to "stick out" from the rest.
Stamina/Health:
Eyesight/Vision: 10/10 - Raiden's eyesight is normal for a wolf. No abnormalities with sight.
Agility: 7/10 - The coat is quite long for his species, so it causes for some trouble with agility
Endurance: 10/10 - Raiden has experienced both high and low temperatures during his time. He'd be pretty used to any of those troubles that may come.
Detection: 7/10 - There's a little more fur in Raiden's ears than normal. This affected his hearing, but not too much.
Strength: 8/10 - Raiden is fairly built. His thick coat makes him look bigger than he actually is, but he is powerful
History:
Raiden was born to a very large pack resting near vast mountains and woods. It consisted of some of the most beautiful waterfalls and creeks cherished by its neighbors. This pack was known by all in the area, the "North Falls Pack." They carried valiance and leadership. Renn's parents were the betas of this pack. They were the second mating pair under the alphas. Kal was Raiden's father and the most trusted of the pack along with his mate Mari. The alphas, Suna and Ossi, have been in a long friendship with the two for years now. Kal and Mari helped shape the pack. Suna and Mari had their litters some time close to each other in March, with Suna's being the first. Her litter contained 3 pups and Mari later birthed 5. Raiden was the last born to the litter and was smaller than the other pups in terms of mass. This lead to him becoming the runt of the litter. In Suna's litter, there was a runt just like Raiden. A female pup named Erdem. During the next few days the two litters became close and played together, with Raiden and Erdem bonding the most. Other pack members began to pick on the two pups for their size. Mari and Kal defended their son regardless of his current condition.
Surprisingly, Suna turned a blind eye on her daughter's treatment. She even felt her litter would fare better without the runt. Ossi claimed that an alpha's litter could not contain any abnormal pups. That it would embarrass them and they would be taken as weak with a representative runt. It seemed more that they were already disowning their own pup. The betas were starting to question their alpha's promised loyalty but could only brush this feeling to keep their trust. It was now around five months later and the pups were finally able to be brought along trips to learn how to hunt. The elk herds were plentiful here, being that the land was also untouched by humans. They conserved the area as an effort to save these wolves. This lead to successful and uninterrupted hunts with the pups, until one early winter noon. Ossi and a few pack mates and pups planned on hunting for the pack before moving to another site. They had to travel with the migrating elk herds and keep up with them. There were no other food sources to be able to feed the pack around home this time of year. Ossi ordered some pups to stay behind with other subordinate females while he left with the rest of the members. He especially wanted Erdem and Raiden to stay behind. They were not ready to hunt in his eyes. Mari argued that the pups were ready to come along. The pack could use extra help anyway. She also claimed that if the alpha would fail to teach its pups, they could not grow to be strong adults and help the pack grow. Ossi was forced to re-think his decisions because of this statement.
It was time to move to another site. The pack followed scent trails along the valley for almost a week with few stops. Ossi and Suna took notice of the dangerous scent of grizzlies coming into the area, but luckily they were soon going into hibernation. Then that's when the smell of prey finally circled their muzzles. The pack was not far from the waterfall's flowing stream and it was closer to not only elk, but bison herds as well. They decided to make a new territory here. The rocks in the area could easily be dug under to make dens for the coming season. Ossi stated that it was time for the pack to finally start their hunt with the pups-or more "young adults" at this point. Since it has been some time since the pack has last eaten, Suna suggested that they had their chance with bison. It was way more complicated to hunt bison than elk, but with the help of the pups, it can be possible. A herd was spotted not too long ago and not too far from the new home. Two young calves would be the perfect target...if their mothers weren't so aggressive and attached. They just needed to get the herd running and attempt to split their calves from them.
That's what they did. The herd started to flee. Ossi ordered Erdem to snap at the ankles of the bison to distract its focus and break it away from the rest of the herd. The bison and it's calf got left behind. Suna ordered Kal, Mari, and a few others to distract the mother while the rest went for the calf. Raiden quickly suggested to go after the mother instead. Ossi was not willing to, especially since Raiden was not yet ready or worthy of hunting bison to him. Raiden no longer stood for his mistreatment at this point. He wanted to prove to his pack that he could in fact be worthy to them. Instead of attacking the calf Raiden went for the mother, who did not take notice of him. Suna and Ossi commanded Raiden to back off, but he latched onto the hide of the large beast. Erdem went to help him. The calf escaped from the jaws of the alphas by this time. The only thing they could do was help Raiden take down the large bison. After a long struggle, the bison was finally laid down to rest. Mari and Kal greatly acknowledged their son's kill. Suna and Ossi weren't very amused or happy.
When Raiden went for his fill of his earned catch, he was knocked to the earth with a strong force. Ossi stood over Raiden, snarling and barking at the runt. He was still a runt, but also a runt who disobeyed commands from the alphas. Raiden snapped back at his alpha. The other members stopped eating and stepped over to watch. Kal and Mari tried to defend their pup, but Suna commanded they back off and it was not in their place to intervene. They still would not back down and continued. Ossi turned his attention from Raiden and turned it towards them. The alphas and betas started to turn against each other, until Raiden told them both to stop. Ossi turned back to Raiden with his hackles raised and eyes looking ready to kill. Erdem took attention to this, and lashed out at him. Ossi took a large swipe to her face and bit down the side of her neck. It was almost like he had forgot that she was his offspring. Erdem was injured badly. Raiden went over to her side to comfort her.
He knew what he would have to do.
His presence in the pack seemed to definitely be a burden to the alphas. He felt it was better off if he left the pack. Suna was not hesitant to agree with this offer. Ossi would gladly agree as well. Kal and Mari would be in the position to oppose his actions, however after today's events they would now no longer be betas for some time. They had to let Raiden go. Erdem wanted to leave with him but she was ordered to stay under Suna's command.
That was settled.
Raiden was banned from the territory as long as the alphas still reigned. He attempted to join other packs when he got the chance, but he was either rejected or kicked out quickly for his jokingly disobedient nature and pride. Hopefully he can find one that will accept him soon.
Personality-Traits:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Positive:
~~~~~~~~~~
||Lighthearted|| Raiden is a very humorous wolf. Despite being the one being picked on and made fun of, he was able to poke fun at his own humiliation. Raiden will always find a way to cheer another wolf up, even if he's not in his best mood himself.
||Outgoing|| Raiden will put his family and friends over everything including himself. Even going out if his own comfort zone to make it up to his loved ones.
||Zany|| Keil was always that oddball of the pack. But he always made the best of it. Of course not always at the best of times. Even in serious situations, Raiden would find a way to make a joke out of it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Negative:
~~~~~~~~~~
||Doubtful|| Raiden has experienced neglect throughout his life. He's been rejected by pack's as well. Raiden can only feel doubtful in his luck of finding a pack he can remain in.
||Carefree|| Most of the time Raiden feels that he could have no care in the world. He is a loner who travels as he pleases, however it can get him into a huge trouble.

Father: Aeudus - Northwestern Wolf
Inherited: Coat Colors, Coat Density, Slight Coat Pattern (especially around the left eye)
Appearance:
Navia's coat is normal length. She has one yellow eye and one blue eye. She would have had her mother's eyes, however, she came born with eyes of both parents. The same eye of her father also has the same white patch.
Stamina/Health:
Eyesight: 8/10 - Navia's eyesight would be almost perfect. Except that her blue eye is slightly harder to see out of. It isn't much of a problem though
Agility: 10/10 - The territory she grew up in was very rugged. So the wolf had to be very agile to live there
Endurance: 6/10 - Navia barely got to experience drastic changes growing up because of where the territory was located. Anything else would be new to her
Detection: 7/10 - Navia had no reason to wander or go outside of the territory on a regular. So she never had use for that sense.
Strength: 8/10 - Navia had been raised to attack without mercy, though she didn't agree. However this paid off, and now she's a stronger female
History:
The Torren Pack of the Western Plains- a horrid pack of some 13 wolves. Aeudus, known to the neighboring animals as the "Bane of Wolves," was the alpha male of this pack with his mate, Afi. His name meant "fire," and he was definitely an infamous threat. The pack spread about the plains like wildfire. Almost destroying anything in its way. The Torrens were the most avoided pack in their region. Prey was scarce...because even they were aware of the pack. You could say the plains were..PLAIN. Nothing but dead trees that no longer sprout their blossoming greenery. Matter of fact, there was few greenery in the first place. Despite rain and storms being quite frequent, the soil just didn't have the nutrients to supply the green life. The Torrens territory was basically surrounded by gloom. Other packs called their territory "The Deadlands" and was sure to stay far from it. However, the pack had knew how to get around the dark land.
The pack has resided there for years and always found ways to find food. It didn't hurt them to leave the territory to go on a hunt. If an encounter were to happen with another pack, there would be no problem. The Torrens didn't dare waste energy on times like this. One thing the pack extremely valued was the birth of pups. Afi and Aeudus were mating pairs for 5 years and have given birth to a full surviving litter of pups in only two of them. This day would bring their third litter. Afi bore a litter of four, including three males, Cathion, Barrin, and Clovinion. Navia was the only female pup of the litter. It seemed to have been a common thing in the pack. Very few happened to be females, and they were only offspring. About 5 of these 13 wolves were. The rest were either outsiders or offspring as well. Aeudus was sure to teach his children the ways of the pack once they got older. To continue the Torren's legacy for generations to come.
Then it happened when the pups were around 4 months old. By this time they were familiar to their territory and all surrounding their territory. The pack met near a large clearing that met the rushing stream. Aeudus brought forth his mate in front of all the members. There was a brief discussion among the two before they called upon their betas. Navia was concerned about what was happening. Her parents had started acting out of character the past few days. There were rumors of a plague reawakening in the region. But that couldn't be.. it should have been cured a long time ago and it certainly couldn't be affecting the alphas. At least that's what she thought.
Then the alphas walked over to their children. Afi snatched Cathion off of the ground and trudged towards the water. Navia and her other two brother watched in shock. Navia was more terrified to spot foam in the maw of her mother. Cathion could only let out a confused yip before his own mother tightened her grip on her young, and tossed him into the rapids. The pups cried in terror as they tried to run away from the scene- only to be stopped by their father and a few other members. Aeudus grabbed onto Navia and another beta grabbed Clovinion. Afi took hold of Barrin and headed back towards the stream. The rest of the pack moved the opposite way and headed home. The last time the pups would see of their two brothers.
Months of fear and anger had passed for Navia and Clov. The alphas became unstable and often had to be redirected by betas. The Torrens had to not only worry about the state of their alphas, but a few other members were getting infected too. However the alphas were far from being "present," so saving them was of no use. Food was getting extremely scarce now. The pack had to go even farther outside of their territory to find prey now. Afi and Aeudus called to their last offspring, who were now of age to serve the pack. They ordered them to leave out in search of food. Navia was not excited about her new job, but she caught an idea. Maybe she could escape her pack while she went out searching. It was risky, but worth her freedom. That night she set out along with her brother and fellow scout mate.
They were more than a few miles away from home now. Clovinion was very aware of his sister's attempt to flee. He had to keep a promise with her to never mention her intent to leave. Clov couldn't leave with his sister, so he at least had to make sure she was safe and successful in her escape. Clov took his partner and wandered off from Navia, distracting him from noticing she was gone. And she left. Navia hastened towards the stream where her own brothers were murdered. She debated whether or not she was even ready to leave. She was so heated in the moment to leave...but then wondered if she was as safe in the outer world as she was here. Navia wasn't experienced enough to be out by herself. Many of these thoughts ran through her mind before she blacked out.
Her eyes struggled to open before she was forcibly awaken by the sound of viscous growling and barks. She was being held back by two of her pack mates. How did they find her again? How did they know where she was? Did her brother... betray her? Not too far from Navia was the stream she had stopped at. Then she heard more yelling and crying. Clov. Three more members were seen dragging him towards the edge of the stream, where the alphas stood. He went on to attack them, defending himself from what was about to come. She noticed that the pack's health has worsened since she left them. The foaming sickness had begun spread, taking over their minds. Navia tussled with her captors before breaking free to help her brother. Only he demanded she finally make her escape without him. Navia couldn't leave with him though. However, she could begin to see formation of the sickness in the corners of his jaws. Clovinion knew he was getting sick too. He distracted the pack by attacking again, giving her time to run.
This time, they were all upon him.
She escaped and this time did not stop to look back. But she could hear the pack mauling at the helpless wolf. Navia would never return to the pack. She couldn't. The Torrens would definitely kill her if she came back. During her escape, Navia only wondered why this happened to her. If she'd stay she would have probably become just like them. She knew that her pack had caused such a problem in their area. Maybe it was her pack's fate? Navia had to ignore these thoughts and keep running.
She'd never tell anyone about where she came from.

History:
Buffalo, snowfall, track, defend, move. These words were vital in the lives of the White Aspen Pack. The pack's alphas were an intimidating couple. Although always loyal to their pack, they were definitely known through their land. After all, they owned their territory around the iced covered lakes and snow-topped mountains. The pack didn't fair well with outsiders or intruding wolves. If they notice weakness in a wolf, they are not hesitant to kill the trespasser. You would be lucky to find a surviving outsider. As long as he protected and proved himself, the wolf could definitely be appointed as a pack member. The Aspen's needed strong wolves too. Their main meals consisted of mostly buffalo that roamed in the nearby plains, and every wolf knows how hard it could be to defeat one of these beasts alone. This made them one of the strongest and tightly bonded packs in the Northern region.
Soal was the alpha female of this pack along with her mate, Flentwick. Together, they lead their pack all the way up into the north. The Aspen's have conquered neighboring packs before and made allies with others. Every wolf in the area knew their name. If they didn't, they would soon find out. During the spring month of April, Soal had her litter of 3 pups. She gave birth to two males and one female. Flint, Lori, and Lynia. Lynia was the firstborn offspring, followed by Flint and Lori. She would become the most favorited by her mother. As being first born to a pack, Lynia will become the new alpha after her parents. Just as Soal was. In a few weeks the pups will get the chance to go on hunting trips along with the alphas and other members. Flint would soon prove his tracking skills to the alphas. He'll acquire a skill in tracking moving herds before any other hunter in the group. Lori would learn to become a natural in the pursuit of a herd. Lynia would learn how to take down weakened buffalo and calves as well as learn the skills of her siblings. During this time, the herds were also getting ready for their migration period. The Aspen's constantly expanded their territory, so they knew the area well and where the herds have moved. The buffalo usually visit outland towards the plains, however the deforestation in the neighboring woods must have caused their route changes. In this case, the pack had to follow the herd's trail. This trip would be great for the pups to show off what they've learned.
When the Aspen's reached the destination of the herd, they immediately tested the pups. Starting with small rabbits to elk, each pup was trained both individually and cooperatively. The pups hunted the smaller creatures by themselves, guided by the alpha's greatest hunter of the pack, Kenji. Then as they reached bigger prey, they were instructed to work together. The lead hunter especially saw potential in Lynia during her hunts. As a final test, they would have to hunt down a buffalo for the pack. Lynia would lead this hunt along with the Kenji.
And so it happened. A buffalo was taken down for the pack to feast. The pups had all passed their test and earned their ranks in the pack. Lori and Flint became the new hunters. Lynia was offered a chance to become the alpha. Of course she was ecstatic to this offer, but she could only become an alpha under one condition. Lynia must mate with a wolf of their choice. She didn't want to bond with any stranger, let alone one that knew her parents. She knew the Aspen's were a fierce pack. Because of this, how would they be able to find one anyway? Lynia had tried reasoning with her parents. However, they strongly advised that she must have a partner that they choose in order to govern the pack. Lynia was very objectant to this rule, but her parents would not allow her to be alpha unless she followed. Her last choice was to leave and find her own way.
Lynia decided to abandon her pack the next week. She was hesitant to tell her siblings of what she was going to do, but she brought up enough courage to finally tell them. Lori was extremely worried for her, so on the day Lynia was ready to make her break, Lori immediately reported to their parents. It was too late. Lynia left the territory to find a wolf of her own, but she'll be fine. Lynia would be proud to exclaim her upbringing, expecting to be bowed down to.

History:
There's too much to tell about the Sage Wolves of the Birch Forest. Said to be a legendary pack, many stories have been centered around them. The pack had to be one of the largest...according to the fables. Around 20-30 wolves populated it. The Sages were the heart of the forest, a wise governor to the terrain.
One of these members had been Shiba, a leading scout of the pack. The tales told of the great alphess, Niwa, and her journey as the alpha. Many of the stories were directed towards female wolves. Niwa's pack was mostly consistent of females. Both offspring and loners who had decided to join the pack. Shiba had been one of these loners, but had joined the pack when she was expecting. They were always welcome to newcomers and favored their she-wolves. The Sages had taken care of Shiba until it was time for her to birth. She had gone for weeks alone without protection or a sufficient meal. Her litter had been miscarried, except for one pup. Only one had survived, and she named him Miko.
That day, the pack sympathized with the mother and offered her a spot in the pack. Shiba was more than an amateur when it came to directions. Niwa recruited Shiba as a scout for the pack. She would spend time searching the area for lone wolves and exploring new areas. Miko had been watched by other members and bonding with other pups while his mother went out. Especially the rescued pups that have been found out on their own without guardians.
When Miko had reached 18 weeks old, Shiba took him along with her to an area she found while out scouting. It had a beautiful spring and was plentiful with flowers. It was not far from the Sage territory either. She reported the area to the alpha, claiming it was a great spot for the pups to play in and for the pack to go for special occasions. Niwa became very impressed with Shiba's finds over the last few weeks and deemed her the leading scout. Shiba was greatly humbled by her position, and vowed to serve her pack as best she could. With the new area available, she and her pup could find some alone time to bond with each other.
The father of Miko was not around to take care of him. That father Tani, was a collared wolf. He was shot down, not long after Shiba had mated, by trophy hunters. So Miko never got a chance to meet him. He had called the very few males in the pack his father instead. After all, that's all Miko knew when he was born.
While Shiba and her son very much enjoyed each other's company in the fields, there had become a stir in the pack. A few members had gone missing without a scent or trace left behind. The pack had to search for their lost members though immediately. Niwa decided to send out her best scouts and a few other members of the pack. Except for Shiba. She knew that Shiba was wonderful with the pups, so she and the rest of the females stayed behind. Niwa promised to be back by midnight if there was no progress, and the pack headed off.
It was almost dawn now. The Sages haven't come back.
Another she wolf probably concluded that they had gotten lost outside the territory. Shiba knew it couldn't be though. The scouts have been outside their territory before so they should have returned by now.
Now everyone was getting worried. The pack was only gone for a few hours. Where would they be? The rest decided that they should maybe wait a day for them to return. So they did. No sign or signal of Niwa or the other mates. The she wolves gave up hope in the returning of the Sages. The remaining few, only some 11, retrieved their pups and headed off in their own direction. Shiba said her farewell and moved on her way with Miko as well.
Maybe she could find the pack again soon? But for right now, they've disappeared. They're gone. The rest is a mystery for the Sage Wolves of the Birch Forest. At least that's how what legends say.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Positive:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Negative:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Positive:
~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Negative:
~~~~~~~~~~

~Female Northwestern Wolf
~Native to Western Region
~1 year old
Bloodline:
Mother: Afi - Northwestern Wolf
Inherited: Coat Colors (blacks, grey, whites), Nose Color, Coat Density, Slight Coat Pattern, Muscular Build
Personality-Traits:

Personality:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Positive:
~~~~~~~
