|| Alisha .
Name: Alisha Rebelle
Alias: Splinter
Age: 1 year
Gender: Female
Theme Song: Lovesick Fool - The Cab www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLuvhtgRIkU
Personality: Alisha is tough and distrustful, not afraid to stick up for herself and defend what is hers. She is about an average size for her age but very light on her feet, and as quick as lightning. She's very evasive about her past, and even dislikes sharing her real name.
History: (not sure if I'm happy with it & it's pretty cliche, but eh I didn't want to make it too long, lols) Alisha was a shy pup. Her parents were the alphas of her pack; ruthless to outsiders, strict to pack-mates, but caring to close ones. Alisha loved to explore and her light footsteps helped her sneak away from her pack to go on her own adventures.
Once, while she was exploring; investigating a fallen log on the outskirts of her pack's territory, she heard leaves crackling behind her. Alisha whirled around in surprise, seeing a pup not much older than she was. She hadn't seen him before... was he in her pack? They stood in silence for a while, both seeming as surprised as each-other. It was the stranger who broke the silence. "Who are you?" he asked in a level tone. "A-alisha... And you?" She asked, trying to keep her voice from shaking. "Chain." The other pup said, and then they stood in silence for a few moments. "Wanna see something cool?" He asked and Alisha nodded. He grinned. "Follow me."
This was how the two became friends. At first, Alisha was very shy and unsure whether she could trust him or not, but as the months passed, they became closer and closer- partners in adventure, sharing secrets and helping each-other around. Alisha still kept away from the other pups in her pack, but she felt completely comfortable around him. Chain was from the Red Oak pack, a rival to Alisha's, the Blackthorn Wolves. At first this didn't matter to them; just a tiny detail that could be simply brushed off. But that was before the war started.
The two packs fought fiercely, Red against Black in a savage battle for supremacy. Blood flowed, wolves fell, but neither side grew tired. A few nights after the war started, Alisha decided to go to her and Chain's usual meeting place. She cautiously padded through the forest, stopping and whipping her head around at every noise. When she got there, Chain was there... They stood in silence for a while until Chain broke it. "I won't tell my pack of you don't tell yours." He said. He grinned, and Alisha grinned in return. "Promise?" She teased. "Promise." Chain said, a hint of seriousness in his voice.
They were both almost a year old, and it was evident that they were becoming more than just friends. One night, she was waiting for him at the usual place and was about to give up and go back when he came. "'Eyy" Alisha greeted, smiling. He didn't return the smile. "What's wrong?" She asked, tilting her head, her expression turning serious. "Nothing." He said, his voice strangely quiet. "C'mon, tell me." She said. He shrugged. "Really, I'm fine." Chain said, forcing a smile. Odd. He'd never acted like this before... "Okay..." Alisha said reluctantly, knowing that he wasn't going to give her much more than that. "Hey, I was exploring and I found this den that's all covered by rocks, and..." Alisha trailed off when she saw him shake his head. "Nah, I found a really cool place." He grinned. Alisha knew a false grin when she saw one. She gave him a funny look, but played along. "Oh, what is it?" She asked. "You'll see when you get there." He said. "Follow." She trotted after him, ears twitching. These parts were unfamiliar to her, but she trusted her friend. He stopped in a clearing. It looked pretty plain to Alisha. "This it?" She asked, trying to not sound too disappointed or suspicious. He looked like he was about to answer, when something knocked her to the ground.
In a second, she was pinned. Two wolves or more, she couldn't tell, had her on the ground. She lashed out, snapping and tearing at her assailants. They didn't let go. He heard someone congratulating Chain. "Haha, you did great." She stopped struggling to look. She saw Chain nodding to a wolf, giving a small smile. Alisha looked back up at her attackers with a mixture of fear, confusion and anger as the full weight of what she had just heard hit her. The wolf who had been her friend since she was just a pup, who helped her to learn to hunt, who she trusted completely and utterly, had just betrayed her.
One of the wolves on her turned his head to face a large brown wolf. "Do we kill her or bring her back?" He asked. "Bring her back. They'll give a lot to have her back, after all, she's an alpha's pup." Came the reply. They stepped off her and one yanked her to her feet by the scruff. She stood limply for a second and he slackened his grip slightly. And then she jerked her body wildly, managing to tear herself free, but not without leaving two gashes where his canines tore into her skin. She sprinted off as fast as she could and plunged into the trees. She heard the sounds of pursuit and ran faster, scrambling over logs and dodging trees in a mad dash for safety. She heard someone swear behind her, and after a while, all fell quiet. She slowed her pace until she was at a walk, padding silently, heart stopping at every sound. This part of the woods was completely unfamiliar to her- she was lost. She thought about turning back, but decided against it. What would she do if she found her way back? Die in battle, torn apart by wolves that hated her and all of her family?
Darkness fell and still she walked. All she could think of was Chain. Why? Why did he have to do it? The only wolf she trusted completely... "Promise." She whispered, stopping and closing her eyes, trying to control the emotions that were threatening to tear her apart from the inside. She threw her head back and howled, not caring who heard it, not caring what heard it. The sound died down and she let out an agonized cry, collapsing to the ground and not getting up. She must've fallen asleep, because when she opened her eyes, beams of sunlight filtered through the leaves of trees overhead. She propped herself up and the memories of the day before flooded back to her. But instead of feeling despair or fear, she felt strangely calm. Were they still tracking her, were they close? Her eyes flared with anger. Let them come. See if I care. She thought, getting to her feet. Something in her changed that day. The shy pup she had once been was gone, replaced by a young wolf with fire burning in her veins.
