Her history is almost completely unknown, due to the fact she does not prefer to bond with wolves that do not share her blood. But the emotions she tends to get over some situations can be a good hint.

Due to not many wolves knowing her, her personality is not truly known well. But it is known that she can be rude and even cruel and cold to wolves to she meets, although she is her own version of caring to her kin. She keeps her location and meanings to herself out of distrust and habit.

Little but quick and smart, Red Lightning is a red-tinted brown wolf with reddish cream under-colors. She has a darker red-tinted "saddle" on her back that extends down her shoulders and legs. Her ears and tail are darker red-tinted and her tail-tip is reddish-cream. Eyes are emerald and her maw and chest is speckled with white from age.

Shock Blue was born in her natal pack with her mother, Fade, and her litter-mates. She was the runt, the weakest of the litter. On occasion her mother would compare her to a she-wolf named Red Lighting, her aunt who was also smaller than usual and very smart and quick. But usually just built up her first-born daughter, Velveteen, to believe she was the prettiest wolf who ever lived. Bata was Shock Blue's brother. Bata was closer to Shock Blue's size than Velveteen, but he still taunted her for her tininess. Bata and Velveteen were two of the darkest sides to Shock Blue's pup-hood, as well as never knowing her father. Fade never liked talking about the father of her pups. The way she talked made it seem he was dead, but Shock Blue was never quite sure. She liked to believe he was a wise wolf who had simply passed away one day, but her suspicion still lingered.
One day, in the depth of winter, a snowstorm came. It had started as a simple winter flurry, something the litter of pups weren't unused to. But within moments it was a winter nightmare. Fade had been out hunting and was unable to return to the den, while the majority of Shock Blue's litter died. It was the first time she had met Red Lightning. The older wolf had saved Shock Blue from the storm, as well as Velveteen and Bata.
Fade returned briefly, grief-stricken and asking what had happened to her children. But once Red Lightning announced the death of her offspring, she left and never returned, not caring about her remaining pups. Red Lightning raised the surviving pups briefly, teaching them how to hunt and how to fight, before departing with them after less than a few weeks.
Shock Blue became a lone wolf along with the remaining wolves in her litter. In Primitive Call, perhaps she will attempt to find a pack to call her home.

Loner, short-tempered, but very trusting and loving to those she does manage to bond with. Growing up as the runt of a large litter with a bratty sister who always believed she was better and more beautiful than everyone, and a brother who enjoyed making fun of her and teasing her, she tended to have low self-esteem while growing up which she still deals with.

Her fur is a ginger-brown and her eyes are blue. Although she has a lighter splash on her chest and her paws are the same color. She has a darker brown streak extending from the bottom of her eye, down to the bottom of her jaw. It starts very thick, taking up nearly the entire bottom of her right eye, then as it slides down her face it gets very thin. Her ears and the tops of her eyes are dark brown as well, looking like the wolf version of eyeshadow. The fur along her ruff has a "Spiked" appearance, perhaps helping with the name Shock Blue.
