Here I am with one of my favorite topics again:
ROLEPLAYING.
Now this itself is not a problem kinda, but as we are in this the position where we have to remind you guys about things,
I feel like I should say few words regarding that:
1. This is a Forum created mainly for people who want to support the idea of the game Primitive Call,
and it is meant for people to keep track of the games progress and to get to know some of the staff a little.
(This has also caused for finding new helping paws and skills, which is super great♥!
We have a lot of great staff now at the team, and we are always eyeing on the members, looking for people who seem like amazing individuals with skills that would be beneficial in anything that would help the community or the game, so keep active, keep behaving and one day you might find yourself from the team~ c:)
2.We decided to create the possibility of roleplaying in the forum.
This is because we wanted people to get to know each other or maybe even create long lasting bonds, so that there would already be something to continue when the game comes out.
All the roleplays should be able to be moved into the game one day, since this forum is not focusing in roleplaying but rather building up a community and feeling of us! ^^
3. All roleplay plots, characters and content should be realistic.
This has a lot to do with the fact that all the roleplays should be moved into the game one day.
As you all have seen and heard, Primitive Call will be realistic too, so it would be very strange to have unrealistic roleplays in it. Strange and unnecessary.
- Zombies, monster animals, strange creatures...
- Unrealistic killing/hunting, for example 1 or 2 wolves killing a bear/ large prey
- Strange behavior like climbing trees / constantly wanting to be in water / constantly having an object with them
(I mean if your character is mentally ill or 'crazy' then it is almost okay, but just on a regular basis? Nah. Also you will not be able to climb trees in PmC. A good tip is: Behavior that you have not seen in the wild is not natural = is not realistic.)
- Unrealistic amount of pack members.
(Seriously, we are are speaking of packs, not armies here. The biggest wolf pack ever known was: 37 wolves, and that is THE WORLD RECORD. [Do not belive any of that 400- pack members large wolf-pack thing that Guinness world records is giving you. That book does not need 'facts' to make 'records'. They have no proof of that record in any way.])
- Wolves hunt PREY ANIMALS, they occasionally kill FARM ANIMALS and sometimes they might HARM A PREDATOR WHEN IT ATTACKS,
But it is super unrealistic and unnatural to see wolves hunting other predators. You wanna try to hunt a bear when the game comes out huh? That is possible, you can try it! Lifeon would love to see you try that, she will laugh evilly at your attempts to kill it, since she is a nice person like that~♥!
(All hail the bearmaster Lif!)
- Wolves do not heal after being killed. When you get killed or near death, the wolf usually dies. Even if it is alpha of the pack, even if it is a huge male wolf who is strong and in good health before the attack. In the world, one hunt can be lethal to wolves who do not know what they are doing. If a wolf is beat up to the ground, the only reason for it to get up again is to crawls somewhere to die in peace.
Realism can be hard, cruel and boring,
but there are some of us who just want to get a glimpse of something real.
- Wolves will die of bullets that are not removed & wolves can not remove bullets from each others w/o killing them.
The way bullets are designed, they are meant to kill the animal, if not instantly, then after a while.
- If your wolf has disability,
IT IS NOT ABLE TO FUNCTION NORMALLY
BECAUSE IT HAS DEVELOPED ITS OTHER SENSES TO BE BETTER
AND TO BALANCE OUT THE DISABILITY.
No, do not do that. If you want to play as a normal wolf, do not give it disability. Have you seen many disabled wolves in the wild or in documentaries? No? Me neither. You know why? Because they die, because they cannot function normally, because they have a disability.
(There are dogs & wolves living in human care who have bigger disabilities, but those would never survive in the wild.)
Of course there is slight disabilities like just one eye being blind,
one ear being almost deaf or tail being broken from the middle as a puppy,
which of course do not affect the wolves life so much, but they will never the less do so.
(This kind of characters are just so unrealistic that it is not even funny.
Also I do not see the point in creating a character with disability and then just playing with it as it was any wolf.
What is the point in that? To get sympathy for the char? That is the wrong way of asking for some in my opinion.)
- A wolf may not grow up fast.
I have not seen a single roleplay that would have lasted long enough for a puppy to grow to be an adult wolf.
Okay now that we have went trough the more 'ranty and strict' part, I have some awesome news for all of you roleplay-interested people there who want to have more and more out from their experiences and fast!
We plan on adding a new staff member in the future!
This person has proved to be a trusty member of the community from the beginning days of their joining and they have had great skills in critical thinking, critique giving and also good ideas for the community.
"YEAH BUT WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH THE RP:ING PART OF THIS FORUM JEI? ARE YOU JUST CARRIED AWAY WITH YOUR TYPING AGAIN HUH?!" - shouts the bored wolf from the back seat of the class-
Actually no! :D I know exactly what I am saying and that this is related to this topic! Wanna know why?
"FINE, TELL US THEN..."
Because the member who will join this team will have a huge part in the RP-related things in this forum. They will help me with threads that help to categorize the roleplays, and we are planning on a grand:
... yes yes indeed we have great and big plans for the future.
-nodding her head in agreeing way, while having her front legs crossed on top of her chest-
Kusy here –
this is all old information and exists already, the RP hub is open and the 'test yourself' thread exists too ~

ROLEPLAYING.
It has come to the staffs attention and we have realized that we have
A LOT of new members who have joined this site
and are firmly focused in roleplaying here.

All of these are thought to be unrealistic traits in characters or plots
AND THEY ARE FORBIDDEN OR YOU SHOULD PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION
