Hello wolfies! This would be my first book in such a long time, sorry if its a bit rusty. First of all, there are two MAIN characters for now. You can PM/post on this thread if you want, but there are 5 limited spots. Now, To our characters! And then our intro. (please do remember writing stories is hard work)
Strike: A small, brownish wolf. You may know her from the fourms. She can be very protective, and yes, mean. She likes to stay out of everyone's paths. She seems to have a secret. She is very close to skull. (soon to be mate)
Skull: A deep gray wolf. Large, but sometimes he acts silly. Okay. He acts silly most of the time. For the remains of the time, he is serious, protective, and battle-mode is on. He is very close to Strike (soon to be mate)
And by the title, it takes place during winter. Sorry if this is unrealistic!
Two wolves walked into the depths of the cave. Eyes, some hungry, some sad, some filled with hope, stared at them. A large black wolf stares at them with his yellow eyes. "No prey yet?" He asked, as he sniffed the air. "No prey" Answered the female. "So it is settled. Many of us died. We have no chance of survival!" growled the large black wolf. A smaller, yet many scars, a wolf spoke up. "It is foretold wolves can survive. Like us." The large black sat down, glancing at the small wolf. "And?" "We must move, h-hungry or not." He was quite cold. The two wolves who had returned from the trip, glanced at the smaller wolf, and at the black one. The male spoke up. "It is true. Hungry or not, we must." The black wolf snarled. "Are you two crazy?! What about hunters? What about cold?" "The remains of us can make the pack revive. The, large, black wolf thought for a moment. He took a breath, and you could see the breath. "It is settled. Announce this. We will be leaving.. Tomorrow."
