Long story short, Caeigan is a maned wolf that really admires actual wolves
and wants to be accepted by them. Doesn't even want to join a pack, she
she just wants wolves to like her. This leads to her always looking to
help and gain the approval of whatever wolf she comes across.
Caeigan is just your below-average creature who can't even tell left from right. Really, she can't. Because she uses both paws for numerous reasons and can use them both very well, she can't understand which direction is which. This has caused her to learn how to enjoy long walks and getting lost when some people might hate not knowing where they're going. In addition to that, she has developed a way to at least know where a water source is: ask birds. Because the birds from the forest where she once lived were so arrogant, they would only talk to those that could reach whatever branch they were perched upon because they were simply too lazy to fly down themselves.
After much practice, she learned to climb trees, to an extent and also knows how to speak bird. For a while, she looked up to birds but soon found out that most of them feared she would eat them. None of the birds really trusted her anymore and felt anxious around her and when she went to ask for directions, they tried to steer her away so she would eventually die of thirst. It was an old magpie in particular that warned her not to trust the birds anymore and she followed his advice. It was a cat that she encountered next that traded information for a good meal who helped Caeigan navigate through the forest and her information was fair. But when she wasn't able to hunt due to an injury, the cat didn't help anymore and moved on. Finally, she encountered a small pack of wolves that would help her as long as she would watch the pups of the pack. Caeigan was more than happy to assist and from that day on, Caeigan not only looked up to and admired the wolves but would gladly serve them in any way possible to earn their acceptance.
//Punched because cliché story is cliché
So yeah. Caeigan. Work in Progress. Why was I aloud to do this.
