Hello! I'm Winter. I have a few wolf characters I like to draw and write, I'll add them here as I get their art updated and histories sorted. Feel free to say hi, I won't bite! (although, some of my characters might... ;3)
Azra
~ ♀ | Mackenzie Valley Wolf | True Neutral~
Azra was born into a pack of mercenaries in the Northern mountains. Her family inhabited a harsh, rugged, mostly barren territory
and often sustained their numbers by trading their services to other packs in return for the rights to hunt on their lands. They
became well known as unflinching assassins, spies and warriors. Azras' father, the alpha, believed that their work was righteous,
claiming that their way was far more efficient than "honest" battle and saved many more lives in the end.
However, not everyone had such pure or noble intentions.... Azra's uncle believed that his older brother had grown weak and foolish
with age, and had begun to take unnecessary risks in order to lessen the bloodshed their work entailed. He called him a coward for flinching
from the true nature of what they did. Quietly, he gathered supporters, and then when the time was right, struck the old alpha down and
seized leadership for himself.
Azra was not there to try and stop him, nor even to hear the news of her father's death. She had been sent on her first assignment not
long before, to infiltrate a pack to the south and, when the time was right, help tilt the scales against them. However, she found herself
growing weak, sympathetic toward the enemy and then finally, realizing she couldn't carry out her mission in good conscience. She admitted to
being a spy, warning her new friends of the dangers that awaited them. She was banished for being a spy, for informing and for lying when she'd
joined the pack, but for warning them, they spared her life. She fled South, knowing she could not return home after such a betrayal and failure.
On the inside, her soul is lost and conflicted, but on the surface, she maintains a clever, aloof sense of calm. She is both ashamed for failing her
mission and running from her family and duties, while also convinced in her heart that
she did the right thing. She travels alone now, hoping to
atone somehow for the misdeeds of her own past and her family's bloody history, and she has dropped her full and rightful name out of shame.
