Hello! So I first tell you abit of this story. It's supposed to be shortish, but can get quite long too. This tells about the life story of a black wolf, who was born in a small pack of wolves who lives in a very harsh lands, forsaken forest, where life and survival is all up to skill and being vigilant. The black pup that was born was surprise to whole pack, because all of them believe to be full wolves. Black coloring usually means that there should be some dog in them.
Anyhow, this small pup grows up to be a wolf. While growing up, she has to face alot of events, bad and the good. The reader can follow her learning the ways of a wolf in realistic way. I do this story as realistic as I can and put all my wolf knowledge in it. I may be wrong or add some unrealistic things in it, also there is phrases that the wolves 'speak' but often there is added the body language, wich means that the wolves do not speak english, they talk to eachothers due body and voice/scent language, but I 'translate' it into speech. Sometimes the phrases are phrases the wolves couldn't really say in body language, but it's just made that way so it would make more sense and deepness into the story.
Also, this is kinda practise job. I am working on real book, wich will be fantasy themed about wolves. I have been working with that book for years, and I will not post it online, since I don't want to risk for someone copying it or using the idea. It's written on finnish language also.
This is fourth or fifth time I write a book in english, and I may not get everything correctly. Note me so I can fix possible faults in my writing and get better in english. I also do alot of typos.
So yeah, hope you'll like it. I post the prologue now. I'm working with chapter I. When first chapter is ready, I will post it.

Prologue
The happenings takes place deep in the forest, at the wolf den where lays the young pups. The alpha male is let to go inside the den for the first time. He'll have a surprise of his life...
"What is this?" Alpha male asked. "Why is one of our precious pups black? Wolves aren't black!" He faced his mate. "Fawn, explain", He growled. "Explain what?" Fawn, the alpha female, growled back. "Do you think that I know? Or do you suspect me from doing something that I shouldn't have?" Fawn looked very upset and threathened in the darkish den. Her eyes were wide and black pupils grew huge.
"I finally let you see our pups now when they are stronger, you should be happy we even have ones in this forsaken forest!" Alpha female, Fawn, growled back. "But what explains this horrid color mistake then?" Alpha male asked, backing off from furious mother wolf. Fawn covered the pup under her tail and growled. She went quiet for a moment.
Fawn was very light brown, almost yellowish with alot of whitetish color on her, specially on underfur. Thunder was darkish grey with lighter underfur and some brownish color in him. Other three pups were brown too. "I don't understand either", Fawn sighed. "Maybe far in my or yours bloodline there has been black wolfdogs. And now it's somehow showing", Fawn said. The alpha male, Thunder, thought of it for awhile and then agreed.
"Yes that may be. But they are all our precious pups nevertheless. We will grow them up as wolves. No matter if there is faint side of dog in them", Thunder said and his yellow eyes turned to watch the pups gently this time. They were three weeks old. Soon they would leave the den and go outside to play. Fawn seemed to read something between those lines which made her say;
"But if theres dog in them theres dog in other or both of us...we are real wolves still, we have always been. Treating her as a half wolf wouldn't be right minded, because theres dog in other one or both of us still, so should we treat all of us like part dog? No. And we won't treat her differendly either", Fawn said calmly. Thunder closed his eyes. "You are right", he then mumbled. Pups gathered up to Fawn yipping and wagging their tiny tails. "Now go", Fawn said to Thunder, who nodded and left outside to get food. It was normal for wolf mothers to stay mostly alone with their pups until they were old enough to be shown to the rest of the pack or to even their mate.
Now though, their pack was small. Only Fawn, Thunder and Thunders aunt Swan, who was old and had joined Tunder when he left his birth pack was there to look after the pups. Swan had been grey all her life, but now she seemed more white than grey due to old age. Swan was pupsitter whenever Fawn needed to leave the den. Now she was probably outside the den laying in shadows. "Momma", Leaf, one of the brown pups, whimpered. Fawn smiled calmly at him. Pups were starting to speak already.
Fawn started looking at the black pup, who was nudging at her stomach and thinking, if any wolf other than her family, would ever treat this pup like a full wolf instead of half wolf or wolf hybrid dog. Everyone would think that she had dog in her by her colors. And maybe she did. Of course, Thunder was more dark colored. Some of the pups had his dark grey color in them on their head and back.
Fawn laid her head on her paws. She sighed to calm down and sleep. Pups yawned and sighed too. They snuggled all close to eachothers and started sleeping with light, small huffling sound. Finally the yipping and whining had stopped. Fawn looked over the pups to make sure everything was fine. They seemed all to be just sleeping quietly.
