Soo, i'm not sure if theres a topic like this, at least on the first page of threads theres none, i apologise if there is
I was just curious about what y'all like to listen to, or how is the music from your country like
Feel free to recomend some songs/bands or ask about opinions on it, although remember that no music is badexcept despacito ahaha ok no just kidding
We can always come here if we don't know what to listen to and we wanna try something different
Talking about genres i usually prefer rock but if im honest i like pretty much anything. I dont usually look much into genres, i just find a song and if its good i listen to it. I can be listenin to something relaxing and then jump to heavy metal, i really like too many genres to name. Except reggaeton though, reggaeton is a typical music genre in spain, but generally speaking, the letters are quite dirty and they use the same beat over and over, which is why i dont really like it at all.
The famous song Despacito also belongs in this genre although its much different than the rest. Which also leads me to the question, from what country are you and did you heard this song? Im really curious about how far its getting, as long as i know, its also been on the radios outside europe.
And about bands, well my favourite one is Starset. They mostly make rock, but their songs have an interesting vibe. Somewhat futuristic somewhat science like, if that makes any sense xD
Although they don't just make music, they also got their own lore and story. In fact some days ago there was a big event, which is why their music videos are kinda messed up on their youtube channels lately. As far as i know they are allied with another organization that is trying to launch a message or a warning about technology, its pretty interesting honestly.
Either way, whether you are more interested on the story or on their music, they are definetly worth a try, i'll leave some songs around
