There is this side of me that I rarely share, but I decided to write some of my poems and lyrics to you guys.

POEMS

"Scorpion" - This one is a little sad apology poem of some sort.

I feel I'm like venom, poisonous like the scorpion's bayonet.
When I sting, I sting too hard in this dark ballet.
I know it's like acid when talking to me hurts. But if I got another chance I would rethink my words.

I never meant to hurt you. I never did, I swear. But I'm afraid that it's too late to say sorry if you're not there.
I'm sorry for my actions, I'm sorry for my words.
I'm sorry when I hurted you.
I wish that we could still break this curse.

"Infinity" - Love poem

Infinity is the time we get when we love.
No force, no hate will tear that apart.
Flying through skies and over the seas,
I wonder: Not that far is the gold we all seek.
I look up in the sky at night to see all the stars.
There's no one else who could heal up my scars.
You are the one that comes to my dreams and you are the one that gets me on my knees.

"I Love You Forever" - My very first love poem in english. I wrote this to close the final chapter of my story "Five pages of love" that I wrote in 2014 in my english class. It's been 4 years now and I am still proud. Enjoy!

I walk down the hill,
Love is now making me ill.
Ocean is whispering to me:
"Victim of love you were born to be."
Even when you think you have no one to love,
You will find one and you'll fly like a dove.
Only when I can't see you near,
Universe has everything I fear.
Force of love is brass,
Once it doesn't last,
Rough times will be in the past.
Even when there is nothing left,
Valiantly we will walk to death.
Even when my heart is steel,
Read the first letters and you'll see how I feel.

LYRICS

"Hallelujah" - I felt like writing my own two verses to this amazing, and touching song so I just couldn't help it. I got inspired by my own personal love life.
The original song was written by and belongs to Leonard Cohenin!

I could not sleep instead I cried

All I ever learned from love
Is to help yourself when for him/her you fall
If you stay down and dont get up, its your fault
But the broken soul you can hear at night
It's not a wind, I came back to life
It's me outside who is shouting Hallelujah!

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...

I might continue with the Hallelujah someday... if I get the inspiration of course.

Douleur Exquise (Unrequited love) - This sounds more of a poem but I did plan this to be a lyrics of some sort.

I prayed for you to get out of my mind.
You were in my thoughts, but not in my life.
I wished for you to get out of my head.
I lost a fortune in a well, and what did I get?

I cant understand what's so deep I miss about your touch, but now your lost feelings for me are all that I got.
My love has wandered for years and those years I've been waiting for you...
You still don't notice how many days I spent of my life to work on us two.
The love I gave to you will always be the most beautiful work of art that I've ever done.
Still I wonder how my heart can't see the monster you've become?
Neither of us knows how I should tell you, that I miss you every day, since it's hard to make you notice anything when only one of us is still feeling the same...

I actually have a lot more material but it is written in finnish so It wouldn't do much on the forum xd

Also I will be adding my very first love poem after I find it somewhere from my room/files! I wrote it 2014 if I remember right, so I was 14-15 years old. So thinking that I was 3-4 years younger than now, I'm pretty proud of it since I didn't have that much experience with writing ^^

I love the way you wrote your first love poem. The way you wrote the first letters, and still made the poem make sense at the same time (and expressing the emotion in a way that isn't awkward)- I don't think I would be able to do that. And even if I did, it probably wouldn't be as good as yours. Nice job!
